Poverty as people would say is a disease and also a stigma that has refused to leave humanity. That is why the percentage of poor people in the part of the countries are increasing.
Most people have failed to realise that a problem can lead to poverty. In other words if you do not know the causes of a problem, you won’t know how to find a solution; and if you do not find a solution the problem continues to grow.
When a diseases is about to attack somebody, it starts by showing the symptoms first before finally attacking.
Therefore poverty as a disease has its own symptoms or causes, which when noticed should be treated immediately before you will be subjected to objected poverty.
Here are some symptoms of Poverty.
1. Fear
One of the symptoms of poverty is “FEAR”. Fear is at the root of all our problems. Fear paralyses the mind, even as a stroke paralyses the body. It strikes at the nervous systems; it causes stress and tension. It undermines our well-being. Worst of all, it robs us of happiness and destroys our peace of mind.
The seedling of fear is Indecision when it germinates, it produces doubt and then doubt grows into fear. The only way you can destroy fear is in the Mind. We must be fearless in the mind within.
2. Indifference
This is another cause of poverty. Those who are indifferent to things can never prosper. Indifference means lack of interest in a something that could change your life. In other words, it is expressed due to lack of ambition; you are willing to take what life can offer.
Life is not fair, it does not respond to wishes but rather to actions or demands. We can make our demand in 2 ways:, In Words & Actions.
Many people are Afraid/Lazy to take action. What we need is a willing Heart. Most rich people today are people who were not afraid to start little.
3. Indecision
Indecision is also another symptom of poverty. Indecision is the inability to make a right decision. It is better to make a wrong decision than no decision at all. Stop sitting on the fence; Go out and take a decision, make a mistake for when you make mistake you learn something vital to success.
Those who are indecisive can never have a breakthrough in life.
4. Doubt
This is also a cause for poverty. it is mostly expressed in excuses. Have you ever thought your life could be much happier if only you could stop doubting yourself?
We create our own doubts and inabilities. The best method to end doubt is to take a risk and change. Change your state which includes your body language and your tone of voice. The moment you feel sad, lonely or depressed, change your body language or simply do something that can change your state. There are many things you can do, let you mind wander.
Whatever has been stopping you from creating the projects you want to create, “Stop Doubting, Start Creating!” cast away your Doubt today so that you can Succeed.
5. Worry
The last symptom of poverty is worry. It is expressed through finding fault. A person who is always finding fault will always remain in poverty.
Worries manifest itself through lack of self-confidence and unnecessary rebuke. According to William Ward “Worry is faith in the negative. It is a magnet that attracts negative conditions”. The key to stop worrying is to first understand that worrying is just a stream of negative thoughts.
Once you begin to have things under control, change your focus from the negative fears and worries, to the positive things in your life. When you catch yourself worrying, bring new positive thoughts into your mind. Change your thinking from the “cup is half empty” to the “cup is half full”. Suddenly things that were worries are now positives.
So now you have the tools necessary to reduce the fear and worry in your life and replace them with a justifiably positive attitude backed up with action and solutions. Start using these tools right now and begin to live a happier life.
I hope by now you will make some changes in yourself and be a better person that you were suppose to be.
Remember being a Successful person is in your hand.
Cheers.
