What my dog taught me about life

It is very cliche to say, but dogs are man’s best friend and can teach us a thing or two. Not everyone may like or enjoy dogs but there is definitely attributes in their lifestyle and mindset that can teach us a few things. Below are some things my dog has taught me about life. They may not be able to help us win big on games like Fire & Steel: War of the Wilds free, but they can help us be better people on a daily basis with these few tips.

Be Happy

Everyone can admit that dogs are generally happy creatures. No matter what they can make you smile. They always greet you with a smile and are excited to see you no matter what. Humans should do the same, you should always greet others with a smile.

Forgive and Forget

Similar to what was mentioned below, dogs are not only generally happy creatures, but they always forgive and forget. You could sit there and yell and scream at them one minute and the next minute they will be wagging their tail and giving you kisses. It is always important as humans to forgive and forget. There is no reason to dwell on the past. It is always about moving forward and forgetting your troubles.

Make New Friends

When you are out in public with your dog, they are always willing to go up to strangers and wag their tails. They are always willing to make new friends. It is important for us not to be closed off and unwilling to meet new people. You never know who you could meet that will add positivity in your life either personally or professionally.

Stop and Smell the Roses

Dogs never let anything get past them. They are always on walks and stopping to investigate and look further into anything they encounter. Humans should stop and smell the roses as well. A lot of times we are swept through the day with all of the hustle and bustle of life and forget to appreciate everything around us. We need to appreciate the little things in life. A dog can appreciate a small thing like a ball and it could make them happy all day. We need to learn from them.

Dogs benefit and thrive from daily exercise. Even a simple walk or being let out in the backyard for fresh air can affect their behavior. We do as well. Make sure to get outside for walks even if you can’t get to the gym. Exercise is key. Just like dogs we also need a lot of water, it has many health benefits.

There are many lessons that dogs can teach us as human beings. They are beautiful creatures and so are we. Take a few tips from them!
